Stopped for breakfast on the way back from Octoberfest; was planning to go into old town to look for a diner but then we saw the Mountain View Restaurant so we stopped.
The place is really a meal factory. Big, lots of tables, lots of people, constant activity. Not much for ambiance. It was slow. It was packed, also. There was quite a delay before we placed an order and while we were waiting a table that arrived afterwards was served.
Quick enough on the coffee refills and the coffee was good. And the food was good, no question about that. Relatively low cost; 2 eggs, home fries, toast & coffee for maybe $7. Meredith had oatmeal, toast & coffee and the total was $12.something.
Since I look for small places, I think I'll go farther into town next time I'm looking for breakfast there.
