Postby JimVonBaden » Tue Nov 02, 2004 3:19 pm

If anyone know's of a place that caters to Low Carb Diets, I would be interested. Even with my surgery I will still need to eat low carb. that or you will have to get used to seeing my food going in and out!

Jim,

While I'm not familar with any reasturants that cater to "low carb" (come on Jim, youv'e seen the way I eat) certainly most reasturants these days are low carb sensitive. Like instead of french fries giving a salad or vegies. Or substituting the sandwich bread for nothing actually.

I'll ask Linda as she eats healthier than I.

It is true, but a friend of mine was talking about a low carb resturaunt that specialized in food for us "healthy" eaters! This one was, unfortunately, in TN. So it doesn't help me. I was hoping it was a trend.

Jim

PS Linda looks better than you do too! You are such a lucky guy!

I split this off into a separate topic since it seemed to make sense.

Many restaurants now have Adkins friendly items listed on their menu (like TGIFridays) but who knows if they are actually low-carb. All about the marketing.

Why not. You can map it out during your down time at home.
