Enter little screen door off backalley, rear of a hole in the wall bar. Make sure you get the sauce on it.

I'm going to add Pica Deli in Reston (corner of Sunrise Valley and Reston Parkway in the biz complex of townhouse looking things).

When I worked at Verizon in Reston I would eat there at least twice a week. Great now I'm thinking about it, might have to eat there today.

Were you at the IIRC, "1880 Campus Commons" building just off of Sunrise Valley Dr.? I was with Verizon as a developer 2000-2003. I was there helping with the systems migration during the Bell Atlantic + GTE = Verizon merger. With the east/west politics during the merger it really turned out to be a really awful place to work.

Small world.

I found a little place called the Italian Deli. it is located in a little shopping center on the corner of Fort hunt road and Belle Heaven Rd. The guy who owns it used to work at the Italian Store. The sandwiches were very good.

For the Baltimore area, Pastore's on Loch Raven Blvd (http://www.pastoresdelly.com/) is hard to beat, but Mastellone's in Parkville/DiPasquale's by Patterson Park (same ownership) are fantastic (DiPasquale's: http://www.dipasquales.com/; review of Mastellone's http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/452541). Then, of course, there's Isabella's in Little Italy (http://isabellasbrickoven.net/default.aspx).

...and now I'm hungry...

Holy Christmas,

How many different Pastore's are around here? There's one onPhiladelphia Road in Rosedale ( http://www.pastores.net/ ) and another in Pasadena on Mountain Rd ( http://www.pastoresdeli.com/ ). Those two have familial relationship, cousins I think, but are completely separate businesses. I didn't know about the one on Loch Raven or how that falls into the family??

I really like the pizza at the Pastore's on Mountain Rd. Subs are ok but they really load them up with lettuce.
