On the western side of Catoctin Mountain in Smithburg you'll find the Dixie Eatery. Simply follow MD 77 into the town (headed west), cross over Water Street and it's on the right at 4 N. Main Street. It's only open til about 2 on Sundays, but it's a nice place to stop and grab a bite of just good old American food. The desserts are good too--especially the pies...
