Moby Dick House of Kabob - Gaithersburg

Postby georgefalcon » Fri Jul 18, 2008 10:48 pm

Lona and I tried this place for the first time tonight. It looks like any other fast food place in a suburban planned community (this is in Kentlands), but the owners appear from the wall art to be Iranian, and the food is fresh, homemade, quite good, and quite reasonably priced.

We had an interesting dinner for two for less than $25.

I like Moby Dick too, George.

You might also want to try Caspian House of Kabobs. It's only a stone's throw from Moby Dick. I like Caspian because it's a real sit down restaurant with wait-staff and table cloths. I think Moby Dick feels more like a carry-out/fast-food place. Food is very comparable (good!). The $ is slightly higher. You should still be able to get out for ~$25 plus tip.

I think they still offer a free glass of house wine with dinner Mon-Thurs. Not bad!
