The Village Grille

On the way back from AZ last fall, stopped at a restaurant called the Village Grill, in Moriarty, New Mexico. It has sort of a '50's motife as did the food - fries, burgers, shakes, etc. - all served in those red plastic baskets. Everything is absolutely fresh and the place is immaculately clean. Regarding the flavor and quality - this place has it all - in a few hundred thousand miles traveled in this fair country, few places rate as highly as this one does. The really neat thing about it, right across the street is a fantastic motel - the name escapes me right now but I'll call it up on my GPS and pass it along later. Also a gas station abouit a hundred yards away! What else is there, I ask you. Walther

Sounds awesome! Thanks for passing the info on. Where the heck is Apple Valley, MN? Are you anywhere near Minneapolis? I used to vacation up in Ely, MN in the BWCA as a kid.
