eap,

Looks like you had a great ride. I enjoyed a lot of the same route last Spring, as chronicled at http://www.bmwbmw.org/bmwforums/viewtopic.php?t=8164. What a great area to motorcycle through!

One of my bad dreams! The dwindling road turns into a two-track, then a steep, downhill, rutted gully, coming to an end in front of a rude shack, from which emerges a band of slack-jawed, gap-toothed Deliverance types, carrying axe handles ...

Yep, it was and our November jaunt is becoming an annual event. Last year we did a run to Phillipi to see the mummies and road Rt 16 (Sweet 16) the full length of WV from North to south.

Hope to hook up sometime, your ride reports and photos are great!

Actchooly we were expecting someone to come see us this point as we stop here for a good while waiting for one riding to catch up and the dogs up on the hill where barking like crazy.... The few folks we did meet though where quite friendly and interested ...
