Steve,

It's true that the great majority of us would have gladly accepted a job that involves playing outstanding music before adoring fans, while touring the world—and earning millions. But having sat next to Neil while he Skyped across the country with his much-loved little daughter, and knowing of the fatigue, aches, and pains associated with his each performance, it's fair to say that this was not an easy job.

Neil was more than ready to retire and spend time with his family. I'm just sorry that such time proved tragically short.
