Riding Big Red, up high and down low, gravel/dirt/slab

Over the past three weekends I've gotten some good rides on my new Wee, one 350, and two of around 230 miles each. done some gavel/dirt on the last two and I'm starting to get the hang of it now and i am really settling in nice with machine. This past weekend I got into some rather soft sand mixed with rocks of 2-3 inches turning around at a river access but managed to plough on thru without issues. here is a link to the longer ride report on adv http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/t ... m.1085715/ and a link to my route for the last ride looking for dirt/gravel https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... sp=sharing and the one just previous to that https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... sp=sharing. Then on the last one I happened to come across some hang gliders taking off at the overlook of the Shenandoah Valley on Roosevelt Camp Road heading to Fort Valley and got a quick video of the last one to launch.

Gotta say this bike is everything I was hoping for and more and after slightly over 2200 miles its definitively a keeper and I've decided to call her Big Red.

Next weekend I'm heading down to the Other banks on her and maybe, just maybe I might tackle a bit beach if the ride on sections are open and it doesn't look too challenging. We shall see.

Nice ride, nice pics. Looks like Big Red will be a good bike for you.

RM,

Nice-looking ride and bike, both--and it sounds like you had a great time. This was my favorite picture from your first trip:

Keep 'em coming!
