A few recent rides on the IT700

Took the SR out for a ride the other day and figured I'd try a few vids. They came out a bit shaky, esp when accelerating due to vibration and the fact that I had the camera on a 6 inch RAM mount arm to clear the flyscreen. the camera had a problem maintaining focus (something I quite familiar with, though for other reasons!) when this happened. Unfortunately the camera has no setting for fixed focus, so its always trying to refocus and sometimes doesn't seem to be able to lock. Prob be best if I had something to mount on my helmet, but what the hell. Still haven't quite gotten the hang of this video stuff, sometimes what I shoot is very clear sometimes kinda fuzzy, Oh well...

Then the following weekend I did a nice long(er) ride of nearly 200 miles. Once I adjusted to the size and power of this compared to the SR400 (which I found take awhile, a least one 50 miler or so) fell in love with it all over again. If only they made this 100 Lbs lighter...

here's a link to the route, https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?hl=e ... oOdcyb2wuo
lots of good local roads, you'll notice in the track there are several places where it forks off and then ends, those were places where the smaller unmarked roads led to gravel and while I have done gravel on the NT, seeing as how they were not only gravel, but also quite muddy from the recent days rain, I opted (read chickened) out! I also road one section down and then back again its such a nice little stretch I couldn't resist.

Now some pics
