That looks like a nice area! I've heard about the FLW house - very cool. If you want to see some windmills up close and personal, head out to WV, I believe off of rte 50 towards Canaan valley, you'll ride right by them! Very cool.

Glad you had a nice time, thanks for sharing the pics!

Nice report Anoop. I got up pretty early yesterday, although I did see Shane. I saw the dopler and was happy to take down my camp before the rain, so I split. VA breakfast this weekend.

Yeah. Smart move. My gear is drying out near a dehumidifier in my basement.

I had a nice ride home, and the rain wasn't strong. I did go over that bridge in Oldtown MD, which was a funny site. It's a private bridge, and for $0.25-0.50 per vehicle, I don't know how they can make money while paying someone to sit there, not to mention the cost of maintaining the bridge....hmmm perhaps it's not well maintained!

I had one mess the shorts moment on a Garmin inspired backround in the panhandle, when I was thinking right and the road made a sharp left. I really think off road academy helped me ride out that wet fishtail without damage!

I was going to stop for a decent breakfast. Over the last "peak" from WV into VA towards Winchester on 50 I circled in a parking lot of what looked like a temping local joint. DINNER LUNCH breakfast. Ok, so no emphasis on breakfast but still....when I circled to park I notice another sign below "Chinese Food Served". Well, I wasn't about to have WV Chinese food for breakfast, so I continued into Winchester and settled for a muffin breakfast at MCD's.

Home before noon, even with the stop and minimal slab time.

looks like a nice time (besides the rain, anyway).

We got rain all three days I was in WV at the rocks for the Fof, but even though I was riding all three days, I didn't get caught in it while mobile! As far as I'm concerned, that's the way its supposed to work. let it rain all it wants when I'm in camp or just walking around, but Not while riding!

anoop,

Excellent report--thanks. Sounds like you had a fun time, despite the rain. Also sounds like this might be the first rally among many future ones to come.

By the way,I'd be remiss if not to say that the 'locals' where nice folks and made us feel wellcome. Tom-the-Postmaster gifted me an old tire off his K-bike that fit fine https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-rRg2Oa7OEEM/Tf52bmiA4EI/AAAAAAAAGdI/RZD8vN2DSj8/s640/IMG_2660.JPG and got me home safe and sound - great time and good people up in the Laurel Highlands.
