How about an easy day ride to include the back roads of Carroll County, Eyler’s Valley, High Rock and South Mountain, with a brief cross into Loudon County on the return? Total distance will be in the 175 mile range (give or take), with rest/gas/food stops every 1 to 1 1/2hours. We will definitely stop to take in the gorgeous view of the valley from High Rock and maybe stop for coffee or ice cream down the road somewhere.

Ride organizer’s pace will be brisk but sane. All riders, though, should ride at a pace that is safe and comfortable for them. Ride lead(s) will wait for the group(s) to reassemble at all turns. Ride organizer will accept four riders behind; any additional riders will require someone to step up and lead from my cue sheet, so that we can stay in groups of five on the road.

Please be prepared to maintain proper social distancing and use a face covering at all stops.

We should assemble in the parking lot of the Sunshine General Store, 22300 Georgia Avenue, Brookville, MD by 9:15am. Kickstands up at 9:30am.
