Fall Colors Ride 2018

Peak Colors for 2018 for the Shenandoah and Skyline Drive is predicted for 10 - 20 Oct. Ride planning is beginning in earnest.
Basic info for now:
Date: Saturday, 20 Oct. Rain date: Sunday, 21 Oct.
Time: Link up - 8:30 am; Depart - 9 am
Meeting Site: Warrenton Exxon (intersection Bus Rt 17/Rt 211)
Enter Skyline Drive at Rt 211, ride center section and stop at approx 4 scenic overlooks, exit at Rt 33, ride to Madison, VA and lunch at Pig ‘N Steak.
Meet Up info to be posted later.

FYI. Skyline Drive entrance fee is $25 for motorcycles. If you have a NPS Senior Pass bring it. If you qualify (62 yo) get one!
Four Stops (Overlooks) along Skyline Drive: Jewell Hollow, Crescent Rock, Naked Creek and the Oaks.

Just a few more days till the Fall Colors Ride. If you want to join us, please RSVP on the Clubs Meet Up page for the Fall Colors Ride. If there are changes to your RSVP please provide an update by Friday evening.
The weather is looking good for the ride. Locally in Fairfax there is a chance of a morning shower, but this will only affect the ride to the Link Up in Warrenton. Forecast for Luray and Skyline drive has no rain, but cool and clouds.
