Barber Motorsports AMA Races 6/23-24?

There are some AMA races coming up at Barber on the 23rd!

I'm toying with the idea of bombing down I-81 and I-59 on Friday the 22nd, watch the races Saturday and Sunday, then start the trip back Sunday evening or Monday morning and getting back on Monday.

It's 733 miles give or take and good practice for a 1000 miler Iron Butt to Sedalia!

Barber tickets are $50 plus $25 if you want to roam the paddock (https://events.cuetoems.com/ama/OnlineTicketSales.aspx). There are still some cheap hotel rooms in the area, e.g., $45+tax/night for a double (http://abviirondale.com/about.cfm).

Darn, I've been doing a lot of 700+ mile days lately running back and forth to IL for family issues. It would be nice to do one for some fun stuff but I have plans that weekend.

I hope you can find someone to run down there with, it would be cool to go to those races!
