I am thinking about going, but I won't know for sure until Friday.

Very strong possibility. It appears my kayaking friends have abondoned me this weekend. Probably a good thing the weather should be great for riding.

Shelion and I are to decide pending weather. We plan to meet at Dorsey MARC station, off of Rt100, between 730-745am, if anyone wishes to join us.

The morning started off dreary, but Shelion would not let me be a wimp. We headed out around 8am, were fashionably late for breakfast, hit the Manassas battlefield, then took the scenic tour home. I rolled into the garage moments ago. It turned out to be a good day for a ride :D

When I got up this morning at 5:30 am it was coming down in buckets. It rained hard here in Northern Harford County until at least 10:00am. guess I should have headed South, it sounds like the weather was better. Sorry I missed it.

RickT and I were the only ones there at 9. We left around 10, when 2 others (Shelion & mvscorpio, I would guess from the previous posts) pulled in.

The day turned out to be perfect, and we had a great ride, with Rick leading the way on his new K1200S, and I following on my K1200RS, through some beautiful back roads up to Harper's Ferry. (It was a leisurely pace well suited to the day, that even some oilheads could likely have kept up with. )

You can see our route here:
