Help Needed: Recruitment Table - Sept 29, 2018 at BOB's BMW

Postby eap » Fri Sep 21, 2018 2:30 pm

Hey everyone, The club is looking for volunteers to staff a recruitment table at Bob's BMW "Open House, Swap Meet & Demo Day" on Saturday September 29, 2018 from 9am-4PM

I will set up and tear down, but we need folks throughout the day to answer questions about the club etc. (easy peasy, just keep the lies to a minimum!) :)

Chime in, If you can help for 1-2 hours, this would be a great time to help out and see what's happening at the open house!

9:00 - 10:00 - Scott K.
10:00 - 11:00 - Gene F.

I picked up the club folding table and Pop-Up tent for this weekends event so we'll have shelter. The tent had some mildew but overall is in good shape - just spritzed it with bleach...

If you can volunteer for an hour or two, you may want to bring a chair. Oh, and if anyone has weights for canaopies, we probably will need them two.

I'll come early with wares to sell; put me down for 10:00, but happy to move to other times if that helps.

Thanks Scott, Jose and Gene and others for hanging out at the membership tent and swap meet at BOB's BMW open house this weekend. Had a great time, turnout was very good, including several club members who showed up to share info on their riding life etc...!

A few of us were able to pick up a little cash selling stuff at the flea market and we met a ton of good follk's and club prospects! Food was good, as were the many seminars which others might report on.

Like Jose A, I also enjoyed a test ride on the BMW K1600 Bagger - several Baggers and owners were also parked tight outside the club tent.

Thanks Hanna and the BOB's BMW team for a fun event!
