My understanding is that Wes may be up there doing work for the MOA. I mentioned the lunch gathering to him. No definite response on his plans. FWIW.

Here you go, worth re-post:

I plan to hit the Saturday show, drooling over new stuff and helping a friend window shop. Who wants to do late lunch?
Say 1:30 pm, at RFD?

Heads up for Metro riders this weekend.

Orange line will use shuttle buses between Rosslyn & McPherson Square.

Trains will run every 20 minutes except Red Line which will run every 13-26 minutes.

Ugh, where was that motorcycle parking again?

Nice little group coming together! Is everyone good with the 130pm start time, or would you prefer a bit earlier - 1230 or 1pm start?

1:30 works for me. It means that I don't need to get to the show at 10am precisely, as I doubt it will take 3 1/2 hours to see it all.

I was planning on riding, but it looks to be a bit chilly for a ride, even for a Canadian! Also, there may be some residual snow still on the ground from tonight's dusting.

1:30 is really good for me, too. I will have had plenty of time to see the exhibitions and chat with pals in the booths from 10 - 1.

I'd like to add another attendee --- the lovely Dr. Deb will grace us with her presence.

I enjoyed the first day of the show. I saw Ed, Sonny, Drew, and Todd. Of course the latter two were working the BMW and Triumph booths.

I also met club member Craig Comontofski of Martinsburg, WV at the antique Norton Club booth. He was showing his 1952 Vincent Comet. Very cool. It was his daily ride until he recently bought a 2016 R1200RT. Talk about a big difference! Ask him what he thinks of the comfort level of the Norton now. I hope he rides it to the rally in June.

This year at the show they have 2 new features. You can get a free boot shine and a free beard trim. My wife says they did a good job trimming my beard.

Yeah, I'm waffling here. My ride bailed on me this morning and I'm feeling pretty lazy. So, if you don't see me at lunch just figured I wimped out.

I drove in rather than rode, and as the traffic was very light and the snow pretty much non existent once I hit the main road, it was a quick trip. The show was a bit smaller than the last one I was at, as Honda didn't come this year.

I saw several club members there, two of whom were working, but only Jose and I turned up for lunch. Not sure what happened to the rest. The restaurant's beer selection was extensive, and as I was on 4 wheels I was able to sample it.
