Since I know there a number of craft beer enthusiasts on here thought I would post this info, Aug. 13 2016 at the Lorton Workhouse there is going to be a BrewFest featuring a number of local brewers. Info on the event is here. http://www.workhousearts.org/workhouse-brewfest/ . there are a number of ticket options depending on how many beers (and how big a glass) you want.
Its the first time for this event and also will feature a number of bands and food vendors. Looks like it could fun.
Looks like Port City brewery will be there as well, they make a nice porter among other types of brews.

Sounds like fun! One of the local Porters I've been enjoying is made in Salem Va, have try and some when at twin valley rally this fall. I'm sure Hank will know where the best selection is near there!

Yeah, Chaos Mountain Brewery is good. I enjoyed their brew at the Twin Valley Rally last year and I'll enjoy it again next month. Looking forward to it.
