Club Membership and BoD Meeting This Saturday, July 9

Keeping with the spirit of Independence Day, July's Club Meeting will be held where there is a panoramic view of the capital's monuments.
The Bartlett Apartments,
520 12th Street South,
Arlington, VA 22202

There will be grills for us to picnic!

The Board of Directors meet at 10:00 am and the open membership meets at 11:00 am. After the meeting, we will grill the food we brought from home or bought from the Whole Foods Market next door (sport bikes don't have panniers).

UPDATE: We plan to validate the garage parking so you don't have to park on the street. We are waiting on final confirmation for this and receipt of the validation "exit tickets."

Directions to the Bartlett Apartments.
1. Head northeast on I-395 N
2. Take exit 8C toward US-1 S/Pentagon City/Crystal City/Reagan National Airport
3. Keep left at the fork to continue toward Army Navy Dr
4. Turn left onto Army Navy Dr
5. Turn right onto S Eads St
6. Pass the Whole Foods Market at the corner of S Eads St and 12th St S
7. At the next street, turn right onto 13th St S – You should see a small sign for Whole Foods Parking
8. At the next street, turn right onto S Elm St – You should see a small sign for Whole Foods Parking
9. Turn right into the parking garage for both Whole Foods and the Bartlett Apartment
10. Pull a ticket from the resident’s lane machine,
11. Ride down to G3 level, find the bikes, park there.

Not all maps have S Elm St but my GPS says the coordinates are

For the Officer’s Meeting from 10-11, we will be on the second floor, follow signs to the “Work Bar,” and we have a small meeting room reserved.

For the general member’s meeting from 11:00-13:00 go the Grill Lounge on the 16th floor, where our host, Aaron Heimke, has reserved a bar area with some outdoor areas where people can sit and enjoy the sun and view. Anyone who would like can bring some food/items to grill (or pick up at Whole Foods on arrival).

We SHOULD have exit tickets so that parking is free…. We are still waiting on the office to make that official and give us the validation coupons.
