Ride the Road to the Arts

Postby hcreek1 » Mon Mar 30, 2015 11:57 am

April 1 thru May 30

Your mission during the months of April and May is to ride your motorcycle to specific ARTsites throughout Howard County, take a selfie wearing your riding gear, send that image to hanna.creekmore@bobsbwm.com, and get entered for multiple chances to win a gift certificate to the BEST local Howard County restaurants!

This fun idea originated last year after learning Howard County Arts Council had placed 12 distinct and innovative sculptures throughout the county in an effort to integrate art into the community. So in an effort to support our local Art Council’s efforts and keep local riders enjoying their motorcycles and giving them reasons and destinations to ride, we came up with Ride the Road to Art!

How It Works

1.Pick up a “Road to the Arts” map at Bob’s BMW and complete a short registration form. Maps and forms will be available by coffee.
2.Ride your motorcycle to the twelve different art sites.
3.Take a selfie in front of each sculpture.
4. Send a single email containing all twelve selfies to hanna.creekmore@bobsbwm.com
5.Get entered to WIN gift certificates to the BEST restaurants in Howard County. There will be multiple drawings thanks to the gracious donations from the local eateries (to be announced).
6.Winners will be announced the first week of June.

Rules
1.Participants must send ALL pictures within ONE email AFTER visiting the last site, to hanna.creekmore@bobsbwm.com by 11:59pm (EST) May 30.
2.Each picture must include yourself in riding gear with the sculpture in the background.
3.Visiting the same sculpture twice does not count.
4.You do NOT have to visit all the sites in one day. You can visit the sites anytime between April 1 and May 30.
5.You do NOT have to ride a BMW to participate.
