spring skills tune-up

Heard of an Event of Interest to BMWBMW Members?

spring skills tune-up

Postby Sundevil2 » Tue Jan 13, 2015 10:03 pm

Some club members are planning on taking Corner Spin in NC on Feb 21-22. You get a “friends” discount when we all sign up for the same class. We want to fill the class with “fun” people. Might you be interested in a fun weekend of riding in the dirt  and enhancing your skills at the same time? :D
Here’s the link http://www.cornerspin.com/main.html.

Apparently it’s better if you drive down and back (they provide the bikes) rather than riding due to being tired and sore when the class is over. Some of us are carpooling – down on Fri and home on Mon – although you could come home Sun.

Thanks Sundevil, Sounds great but the stars do not line up for me. Pricing looks good too. I will put them on my 'to do' list.

Karen (Leigh and Katie),

We would love to know how the course went? Did you guys make it down? If I remember correctly we were fighting some nasty snow storm that weekend.

The class was canceled due to the weather. I think Karen is going in May. I haven't found a good time to go yet - but most likely will go in the autumn. If anyone here has any interest in going as a group, I'll be happy to try to make it happen. And I'm sure Karen would appreciate the company.

Don't think my Spring skills are lacking, but my Rebound skills seem to be diminishing with time, go figure!

Well, I think you should all definitely keep it noted on the forums, maybe even a new thread as new information becomes available? A group going down is always more fun. I am out for the May class but may be interested in the Autumn class (would love to bring my kids too). So, keep us all in the loop!!

Anyone interested? Check it out!
