Once again its coming up time for the running of the annual Festival of Five's hosted by yours truly at Seneca Rocks WV, now in its 14th year.
Come droll over some of the nicest /5's you are ever likely to see, bring your own or other vintage bike or whatever else you may have in your stable!
Its not just for /5's any more (never really was, actually!) ALL BRANDS/YEARS WELCOME!
The event takes place over the Father's Day weekend, June 15 thru the 17th at Yokum's Princess Snowbird campground right at the base of the Rocks just across the bridge from the intersection of 55/28 and 33.
No fees, no planed events, just hanging out, riding and maybe an impromptu tech session of Slash 5 maintenance issues as requested by participants. We may even have a pancake breakfast if there is enough interest.
There are stores for beer, food, general supplies and several places to grab a prepared meal right at the rocks within an easy walk of the campground. Camp, rent a room, a cabin or sleep in a large funky metal Tee Pee on site thru Yokum's at http://www.yokum.com. Plenty of great places to ride, including Green Bank NRO, Cass Scenic Railway, Dolly Sods wilderness area and some great off road riding for those so inclined as well as one of the highest mountains in the area with an observation platform. Hike to the top of the rocks or ride a horse up the back trail.
I'll have coffee each morning at the 4-plex cabin on-site and there is covered pavilion we usually
gather at in case of rain.
