The club received our new GS-911. It's the latest model and even fits the OBD connector on the newest models. Of course we also got the adapter for the round ten-pin connector.

How does one go about getting the use of this GS-911?
Also, is it fairly intuitive to learn to use it to turn off those yearly service reminders??
Thanks

We are going to come up with a formal deposit system. Until then, it fairly informal; just ask.

If you just want to reset the service reminder, I can do that in a few minutes because this model works with a smartphone.

If you come to the Rally planning meeting in Fairfax today or the Clifton Breakfast Ride next Sunday, we could do it then. If you need it longer for detailed diagnosis, I can mail it to you and you can mail it back. Click on my username and send me a PM (Private Message).

Attempting to send a pm - don't think it's working.
I am planning on the Clifton breakfast ride on Sunday.

Thanks.

I will be at the Clifton breakfast at 8 am so we can either clear and scan or work out the borrowing agreement.

I will PM you my phone number.

By the way, a PM will stay in the "outbox" until it the recipient reads it. Very weird.

Bruce, I’ll be at Clifton too, so you can reset my service reminder then.

I would like to use the GS-911 to run diagnostics on my R122 GS 07 model ( new to me)
Yesterday I had it off road for the first time ( fire Road) on the way back home over some fairly bumpy roads the "Brake Failure red light flash on several times then the engine cut off. It did restart with no further instances and upon inspection I can find to physical reason this happened. So I just wanted to check it out.
