Any More Tech Days This Year?

Postby Mikepotter86 » Thu Jun 27, 2019 1:48 pm

Are there any more tech days planned this year? I have some tires to mount and some wiring to do and would love to do so with the club! Had a great time mounting new tires and performing maintenance on my /5 at JVB's tech day, hoping to make a repeat performance at the next tech day with another bike.

Thanks!

Hi Mike,

Failing a new tech day, hit me up and we can set up a time to take care of your needs.

Jim

PS, you just need to take your tires with you. I had 18 tires, at $5 each, that I took to the landfill a couple of weeks ago.

That’s not right that you should bear the cost of the disposal. Next time the owner should take the tires with them or leave a service fee.

As for the current expense, maybe the club should address some type of reimbursement.

Seriously they could have at least cover'd the disposal as I don't remember pulling a check from all those tires.

Hi there, Yes I was just thinking about hosting another one this year. I was thinking more in the September-October timeframe as it too hot 90+ degrees today.

My own fault. Some offered, but it didn't seem worth the time.

Jim,

Thanks for the offer. It looks like it will be a while before the next tech day so I will email you.

Thanks!

Hope this is delayed until the last weekend of Oct or later. I am out until then either traveling with Pfamily or riding with Pfamily...

Suggest, if JVB permits, we hold an quick club meeting. I fear our club is flailing and we need to see how to revive it somehow.

Mounted tires on my wife's bike yesterday at JVB's place. Thanks Jim.

Hope to see more tech days from the club next year.
