Long-Term Storage

Postby jack0505 » Sun Jun 19, 2016 10:51 am

Hi, I just had my 42(?)k mile maintenance work done a couple of months ago and now my job is shipping me elsewhere for 2-3 years with no viable option for bringing my 2004 R1150RT. They are providing storage, however, so I wanted to check with the assembled experts on the best approach for long-term storage. There's a decent amount out there on shorter-term storage...but your advice on the much longer time frame...and specific to BMWs, if possible, would be greatly appreciated.

THanks much in advance,

J

I don't have an answer, but my search would take me to George at BUA as an option, and also to check with any friends who have additional garage space.

I believe Battleys and DucPond (Winchester) offer bike storage. I think it costs about $1-2 a day. Could be an income stream oppty for someone with a farmette and available barn space ;)
