Even premium gas has ethanol (corn liquor) in it. Don't get me started :)

The FI cleaner is a good idea, I ran that through a few tanks on my GS & it's been running a lot better lately.

The forecast for Saturday is rain. While this is not great news we wanted you all to know we are smoking the pork shoulder rain or shine. So please still come on by. If it rains it will be more of a fun indoor/garage parry. Still fun right? :-D

We look forward to seeing anyone and everyone tomorrow!

It's only a 70% chance of rain for the first part of the day :)

Besides, what do we ride? BMWs or Harleys? lol

More importantly, what do we wear? Chaps & vests or Aerostitches?

I'm going to make the run from Laurel....the new Pilot Road 4s may get their first wet weather test.

Thanks to Nicki and Bruce for hosting the tech day.

Great conversation and the pork lunch was awesome!

Thanks again,

+1 thanks Nicki and Bruce!!

I did hit a bit of rain not the North side of the beltway for about 10 minutes, light to moderate rain. The PR4s felt fine; however, I was just keeping a steady speed on relatively straight Interstate so I didn't get to test braking or cornering grip.

Forgive me if I'm telling you something you know, but brand-new tires are limited on grip until they've seen a couple hundred miles and/or enough heat cycles to break down the slick surface that results from the manufacturing process.

John, thanks for the feedback on the new tires. The tires had been on for a few weeks and had a few hundred miles on them before this past weekend's rain. I will continue breaking them in cautiously for my next few rides.
