CANCELLED Battley Tech Day 12/8/13

Postby drewalex » Tue Dec 03, 2013 9:15 am

Although the forecast is iffy, Battleys will have several lifts & a technical advisor available to members for use after the club meeting. Please let me know if you are planning to use the facilities, otherwise we can set up a little show & tell session. See you all on Sunday!

Confirmed that the TECH session will be cancelled.

Watch the meeting thread in the EVENTS section for updates on the meeting as we track the inclement weather.

What are you inferring, that Harley riders have more common sense than most of us?

Harley riders are more common, for sure. :P

What John said - exactly
But seriously, I respect any rider on any set of wheels as long as they ride - heck, I also salute people on scooters because they are out there just like us.

Yeah, but unlike us, they tend to wear inadequate protection, when they wear any at all... I often wonder what kind, if any training they've had and where they got it, since as far as I know, there is NO safety training, scooter or otherwise, available in DC (which is where I observe most scooter riders)! #-o

The problem is not high-performance motorcycles. It's low-performance riders...

Why would scooter riders need gear and training? Nothing that cute could be dangerous. Now those scary-looking motorcycles must be really dangerous.

Oh come on, you're using logic and experience rather than emotion. Not "cool," bro.
