Hey Pat, I plan on coming down tomorrow. Sorry for the short notice! I need to change the front and rear tires on my 1200GS. I've never tried it so I would really appreciate some help. Also, what else do I need to bring for the tire change (besides the tires!)? Do I need to grab some weights or valve stems? Thanks!

I have a bunch of wheel weights. I have never changed out a valve stem but if you want to we can do it. I have all the stuff to change out the tires and do a quick spin balance.

Pat, thanks for hosting. You have a great garage. Food, drink, and technical advice were excellent. I wasn't planning on doing anything but ended up doing an oil change, new pads front and rear, and a new rear tire. Gotta get me one of those no-mar changers! You banged out in 5 minutes what normally takes me 2 hours of grunting, cussing, and sweating.
