Broken Headlight Connector

I had to change my headlight bulb last night. Normally this is quick and easy but the two-pin connector was stuck to the old bulb. I wiggled it and pulled it off. Well, I pulled it half off. The plastic connector split in two and a wire with the spade connector was stuck to one of the bulb connectors. It was stiff but it did come off and I finished the bulb change.

When I replace the connector, I'll use some dielectric grease to prevent corrosion. I never really thought about it before but it is probably a good idea to use the grease for bulb changes.
