BMW Saddlebags from 2005 R1200RT

I guess there was too much weight on the saddle bag lid when I opened it because the stay or "leash" anchor point broke off.

Does anybody have an idea for fixing this? Don't tell me to trade it in on a 2013. #-o

Get some 2 part epoxy puddy type stuff and remake the mount once it dries you can sclupt it some with a dremel tool

There is a version specific for plastic as well. It cures white but you could paint it with a little rattle can and it would not be as noticeable.

I was going to recommend JB-Weld, which is a 2-part epoxy that does a fantastic job. You can get it at most hardware stores.
