Been there done that. I still have my target from the BB range, and I'll bet the trail markers that Geoff made are still up there on the trail. :D

Camp Ottari at Blue Ridge Mountain Scout Reservation. So you had a little trouble with your buddy tag, eh? We haven't been to Goshen, but this is the second time I've been to Ottari, and the boys love it. We had a great week, but Clifford sure looked forlorn when I walked in today. I need to give him some attention tomorrow!

Paging Anton ...

some poor slob appears to have had the same thing happen to his R1150R (300 miles from home, after only 5 months of ownership) and could probably use some encouragement: http://r1150r.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17026&p=150679#p150679

A good thread. Thank you.

My friends engine is totally broken. The bike is BMW R1100RS as well. Somebody put some metallic powder in the engine through the oil plug hole.
Now we have to change the engine. We bought a used one from Ebay already.

Are there some new hints or ideas how to do this job?
Or any other threads somewhere else?

We did it this way today.
Used two ladders and a storeself.
Quite easy and the assembly will be easy as well, I think.

Wow, zombie thread! I think the ladder idea is ingenious. Should work very well - good thinking!
