Attending: Bruce Dimon, Bob Smyth, Gene Freund, Mark Pledger, Phoebe Bennett, Jose Abiles,
November minutes - approved
Elections - Jerry Skene unable to attend – still need officer candidates. Bruce willing to stay, discussed
options – Drew Alexander willing to do Rally Chair but not VP. Need to develop feeders (use
Committees) so members have experience with club work and not intimidated by leadership positions.
Phoebe would consider another post if there's a membership volunteer.
Meeting : Monday bad, moving to Wednesday, starting 5 Jan at 8:30 PM. Might help to email tutorial
about how to get meetings on your calendar
Holiday Party: Bruce to contact Alain. Phoebe to Chair. Nan Couleman and Ileana Castro willing to
share stories and images from their 2021 trip west. Thinking 25 members tops in separate room at the
restaurant.
Logo: BMW has changed logo requirements. Mark Motioned and group approved formation of Logo
Committee – Mark and Phoebe to start, and search for requisite talent. Bruce to forward relevant emails
Rides: Jose and Mark brewing ideas for overnights as well as in-person rides meeting for spring.
Action Items:
– Phoebe to talk with Drew; maintain current board until we have an election
– Bruce to forward emails re: Logo to Mark and Phoebe
– Mark and Phoebe to comb membership records for logo talent
– Mark and Phoebe to form Logo committeee
– Bruce to contact Alain about date for holiday party
– Bruce to hand over Holiday Party planning to Phoebe
– Bruce to change meeting schedule and email membership with “how to follow” instructions
