October Meeting at Bob's on Saturday, Oct 13

Postby bdimon » Wed Oct 10, 2018 11:02 pm

The General Membership meeting for the BMWBMW club will be at Bob's BMW on Saturday, October 13, 2018. We will meet from 11:00 AM to Noon and then we will pester Bob for information about the new R1250 bikes. I'm sure he has not gotten enough questions yet. :-D
Non-members welcome to attend. The topic will be the election of new officers. The Board of Directors will meet at 10:00 AM and members are welcome to attend that too.

I'll be there - I have to leave right after the meeting, but hope some folks might be able to ride to Morton's Open House!

Membership Report for Aug/Sep is posted in the Membership section of the forum.

Was good to meet everyone and show off my ugly italian jacket I am so proud of :)
Plus I found a replacement tank bag and picked up a BMW Bob's dealer shirt since it was my first time there.

Will see u around and contribute where I can.

I attended both the Board and the Club meeting and thought it was very, very productive. We all owe a big THANK YOU to Bruce Dimon for his efforts over this past year as our President and that he is willing to continue to serve the club as the Media Chairman over the next year.

A lot of new ideas to increase membership, have consistency and frequent Tech days, upgrade a dedicated GS911 for club use, etc, etc. were discussed. I have been a member of BMWBMW over the past 18 years and have seen many ups and downs of the clubs membership and activities. I am encouraged by the enthusiasm I saw exhibited by the Board members and encourage all members to, not only attend the club meetings, but to occasionally sit in on the Board meetings - the Board welcomes your presence!

Don't forget the hot coffee and the offer provided by our host to reach out to all the local dealers.
