BREMBO on the brakes did you tape it off or just run a piece of sandpaper to remove the black paint?

Sandpaper on a sanding block.

Jim,

Once again I'm just amazed at what you're able to accomplish! One look at the disconnected wiring harness, and I would go running to cower in the basement.

I'm not sure which is more impressive: the extreme quality of your work or the rapid pace with which you accomplish it. I doff my cap--again!

Finally able to do some real work on the project. Took it all apart, removed the pinstriping, polished the paint, restriped it, connected all the wiring so the lights work, reassembled it. Looks pretty good. (at 5 feet) Two weeks after surgery for a hernia, and I am wiped. Happy that I am almost done. Needs some detail work, adding a few bolts, and setting the throttle bodies. Can't get it off the lift without help since I am not allowed to lift much weight yet.

Some glamor photos.

As always awesome work, sorry to read about the surgery. On a serious note, if you need a helping hand moving it around or something ping me. I would be happy to stop on the way home one night or on the weekend. Take care.

That looks amazing!

How low is it? The seat looks uncomfortably low compared to my ride.

Not too bad. I ride a standard 2015 R1200GS and my reach is just slightly better. The knee angle with the feet on the pegs is a little steep for me though.

Good for a short person for sure.
