YES! We need this. Hopefully the laws will change to allow Law Enforcement to use this tool.

This will help save lives or at least prosecute those dangerous distracted drivers.

Privacy rights are way too often used to hide illegal activities. This device does not access content, only records of phone use. IMHO, it is similar to the sobriety test, and should be used when the cause of an accident is unknown, or potentially a distracted driving situation. If it shows a potential illegal use of the phone, and warrant to fully access the phone should be approved.

Just my opinion from a commuter that sees distracted driving because of phone use EVERY DAY!
