Lousy Weather - Great JVB/BMWBMW Tech Day!

Postby endobobdds » Sat Apr 22, 2017 4:20 pm

I arrived early and dry at Jim Bate's Tech Day today. I got tires mounted and I'm ready for next week's 5 days of riding down in NW North Carolina with some of the BMWST folks. But even if you don't get anything done on your bike you should take advantage of these wonderful events! I always learn something new and enjoy the fellowship with fellow motorcycling enthusiasts! The weather was as forecasts - we had rain. However, we had over 30 people there today with smiles and good stories about there bikes, rides, and adventures.

Thank you Jim for sponsoring these events! Your sharing of your tool's, knowledge, enthusiasm, and home/garage are indeed appreciated!

It was a fun time. I got to see Jim beat on a bike with a hammer and have the pictures to prove it.

Jim has a great garage and we appreciate the hospitality of him and his wife. Thanks. =D>

Thanks Bob! It was damn, to say the least. We had just at 35 people brave the weather. Lots of work got done, and lots of food was eaten.

I had a few left over door prizes, that is how many we had, so they will be going to the Square Route Rally!

I'll post photos later.
