So... nobody has commented on this apparent throttle lock that I posted earlier in this thread on an RT I saw parked this month. Does anyone know the origin of this device? It looks like it is factory installed... I kinda like it!

Got any idea where to get one of these?

Ask George at BUA. I rode his GS loaner and it has one...

Route 522 nouthbound near the intersection with route 73 on Sunday morning... I saw a black GS type boxer with a sidecar. White 3/4 helmet on the rider... I was headed the opposite direction. I waved, but he didn't see me. I have NEVER seen a motorcycle with a sidecar on the road before... I must live a very sheltered life, eh! That one looked pretty cool riding down the highway... I must admit.

Had a very pleasant meeting with George at BUA last evening. Great discussion and great advice on repairing my final drive myself... If I get into trouble, I can always bring it in to him to fix my mistakes...

... and he had found that he had an extra throttle lock like the one I posted and sold it to me for only $10. :D
I know where my bike will get repairs I can't handle in the future!

Thanks George.

Sunday morning on my way to the club meeting, around 720am. I was heading South on 15, near Point of Rocks, red twin 650 heading north, rider in black. We waved.

Then I caught up to a familiar looking fellow on the 800R. The hi viz helmet gave Scott away and we continued onto our meeting spot together.

Saw a red GS, rider had a white helmet and high viz vest - on 395 near Edsall - I THINK you got on the HOV -this morning around 7am. Your hyper lights on the back were pretty impressive - what kind are they?

Wednesday noonish on 15/11 in PA near Sunbury, yellow 12gs with sidecar rig heading south. Then in downtown Bloomsbury, I was enjoying a post-meeting dinner with coworkers at Marley's. Awesome white k75 zoomed by on main street.

That was me! Wow I was finally spotted by someone.

I am a self employed American Sign Language/English interpreter, so I dont have a regular workplace and float around all over. One of my clients is right by the motorcycle parking outside USDA on C st SW.

Great to be seen!

ASLrider,

Next time you are servicing that client next to USDA, shoot me a PM ahead of time and I will arrange to meet with you face to face either before or after your appointment. I work less than a block away on D Street. It would be great to meet another forum member.

To that end, the November club meeting is in Winchester, so you should be able to meet a bunch of us all at once :)
