Saw an R12RT (I think) on Sleepy Hollow Rd in Annandale this morning about 6.30 ... missing a side case!

K1300GT in Red, SB on US 29 near Howard/Montgomery County border at about 1830 today. I also often see a blue R11xxRT at various points on that part of my commute (between ICC and MD-100), anywhere between 1700 and 1900. I was in car today, but usually on two wheels. On that stretch of road I rarely have more than a little slice of attention with which to ID vehicles across the median, given the varying levels of speed and aggressiveness of my fellow travelers, as well as the ever-present possibility of a sudden slowdown.

Not to mention the far-too-frequent gendarmes on the ICC....... :(

More'n more today - a pre 2004 R11xxRT about 2 vehicles ahead of me on SB US29 in Howard Co, MD just before 0730 this morning. Merged in around 108 and exited to 32W. And a 1200GSA with very conspicuous aux lights SB on 29 near the same spot as I was heading NB at about 1830. You got off a wave and I a feeble nod.

I havent logged on here in over a year. I saw George a couple months ago on his bicycle at 175 and Rt3. I was on my black Triumph Tiger and turned west on 175 from Rt3 N. I yelled "Hi George" as I went by. Dont know if he heard me.

Rte 17 N near Burkittsville at 4:00 Sunday I saw 2 RTs scooting pretty darn fast to beat the rain clouds. I was riding the southern half of the Sharpsburg/Antietam commemorative ride which will be premiered at the Square Route Rally. Scott

Probably so. :D :D Particularly if it was between 2 & 2:30.... on my way home from representing the Maryland Motorcycle Safety Program at Ft. Meade's Safety, Health & Wellness Expo. I'm still not quite sure why we were invited, since we don't do classes on the base, the military does, but we had a good time, never the less.

the ICC is a bit out of my way, but I much prefer it to the outer loop at that hour, and the price of admission, while it should be nothing for motorcycles (because of the wear and tear we put on the road), isn't too steep...yet.

Yesterday, 3 pm, rt. 550 riding toward Thurmont: a smoke gray R100RS and a R100RT. I was on a Yamaha Majesty scooter (not mine).
