I can tell summer is over when I see more Beemers on a weekend ride than I see Harleys! I saw so many this morning, I lost count, but here are the ones I remember:

Tan R1150 heading east on Rt 55

White F800GS with a non-beemer on Mt Carmel Rd/Frogtown Rd

Silver 1200GS with a white helmet eating some Q in Aldie

Silver 1200GS heading west on Rt 50

Red 1200GS heading west on Rt 50

Yellow 1200 GS heading west of Rt 50.

I was heading west on 50 this weekend on my Namibia Orange R1200GS along with Rick on his Red R1200GSA and my wife on her White G650GS.

Saw an R1150GS on Davis Ford road this afternoon around 16:20, I think it was white and blue, but I stopped looking at the bike so closely when I realized it was being piloted by a rather tall lady with long brown hair. You go GS ladies!

Today at 2:50pm I saw a grey/black 1200GSA going north on 270 just north of 80. I was coming back from Williamsport on the opposite lane, and even though it was raining and traffic was bad, I envied him being on his motorcycle while I was trapped in a cage...

You must have been the group of riders I passed. It was a heck of a nice day for a ride...

Wednesday around 545pm, saw blue/white 1100gs heading north on i-83, just before Shawan Rd. I was heading south in the cage.

I had fun keeping up with a blue R1200RT today around 6:00PM in the southbound HOV lanes on I-395.

Wednesday around 11:30 or so. 95 SB around Aberdeen. Light colored (Silver?) R1200RT, white full face.

Another fall Sunday ride out Snickersville Turnpike and back on 50/55/29; another day of too many BMWs to keep track of.

As I was turning left onto I-66 in Centreville, I did see two BMWs go by that looked familiar from BMWBMW events. The one in front was (I think) a yellow rockster, and the one following was a woman on a silver 650 in a silver jacket and yellow helmet. I know I've met them at at least one BMWBMW event, but for the life of me, I can't pull their names out of my head...

Saw a yellow R1200GS with a camel sticker on it. BMWBMW club, MOA, and ADV stickers on it - parked in townhomes across from Montgomery mall in Bethesda. I think that's the right name of the mall??
